What About Tariffs?

It’s true that some of our product lines come from the US, but many of those products just simply aren’t available in Canada.  That may change in the future, but even Canadian-made products are facing tariffs if they use steel or aluminum sourced from China or the US.  Until there are more Canadian-made options we’re doing our very best to mitigate the effects of  any tariffs on imported products.  And there is some good news- not all our products are subject to tariffs! 

If any of your items are affected by tariffs, we promise to:

• Ensure that our inventory systems are accurate so that tariff-free items are not affected, and so you don’t pay any unnecessary tariff charges.

• Minimize the effect on your pricing due to tariffs.  We don’t mark up the tariffs, though we do need to pass them on.

• Keep you up-to-date about options on recovering or reducing tariff costs.  If you are a manufacturer of agricultural equipment or automotive products, you may qualify for a refund of the tariffs you’ve paid!

• Stop charging tariffs as soon as we possibly can.
