Swell Latches provide their latching force by compressing a rubber grommet (causing it to swell up), which causes its diameter to change. To unlatch, just release the compression on the grommet!
Installation of this latch requires two "reasonably precise" holes to be drilled: one in the door, one in the panel. Attach all the parts as shown, and that's it! You've got a weather-resistant latch that requires no further adjustment.
